Musician Bob Beach . .
. has been performing for more than 20 years with various
bands, and he's capable of playing several instruments. In a
field where others often come and go, Beach attributes much
of his staying power to his versatility. --

“After
Bethlehem we scooted down to New Hope were we met up with Bob Beach, an
amazing blues harp player who we did a workshop with last year at
Philly Folk fest. We had no idea that he was there but he jumped up and
jammed with us on 'Mamma' and totally blew us away. He also made he
trek down the next night and played with us again at the Grape st Pub
in Philadelphia. He's a lovely guy.”

"Mr. Beach, whose work we first encountered on
the Philadelphia Jug Band's recent CD, is a harpist of unusual skill
and intelligence. I have heard him blow all the notes of Irish fiddle
tunes and segue into light swing. It is worth owning this recording
just for harmonica leads."
