Blues New and Used
CD Contents

It is a tasty collection of blues-based acoustic music, contemporary and traditional, performed with feeling and, sometimes, with humor.
Elements of gospel, rhythm and blues, rock 'n' roll and country also are represented in the material -- original tunes and new arrangements of the work of others. There is even a solid interpretation of the Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil." -- North Hills News Record

"Blues -- New & Used" is an interesting blend of originals, offbeat blues and R&B crafted in a distinctive acoustic framework....
Fitzgerald's originals are clever and well-crafted, sometimes topical tales set to blues. "Health Food," for example, slyly details his adventures in a trendy by meatless restaurant. -- Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

DC Fitzgerald is a veteran of blues and folk venues for over 20 years and has performed everywhere from Rome to Kerrville. In 1995 he toured for three months with the musical 'Woody Guthrie, An American Song' after performing in City Theater's Pittsburgh production....
Bob Beach's flute, harmonica, and vocal talents have been part of the classic rock band American Music and the Bob Beach Blues Band since the early 1980s. He also played harmonica on Bob Corbin and Dave Hanner's hit "Oklahoma Crude," on their second album.
Performing together on and off since the early 1970s, Fitzgerald & Beach truly appreciate and complement each others musical talents. In 1996, they released the critically acclaimed CD, 'Blues--New & Used.' -- program notes from Calliope's 97-98 Folk Masters Series.

It’s easy to tell that these
two performers simply enjoy playing
together…. much of the material on
